Erasmus Pharma B.V. is an internationally recognized research and development company that operates under the holding of Erasmus Medical Center.
Founded in 1998, it is currently incorporated within the Division of Pharmacology and Vascular Medicine of the Department of Internal Medicine. Its main expertise lies in the area of cardiovascular pharmacology, having available a wide variety of research tools, both clinically and preclinically. Its mission is to develop new treatment strategies as well as to test new drugs, focusing on hypertension, migraine and aging.
Needless to say, all studies, preclinical and clinical, occur according to the highest international standards, after having obtained permission form the Animal Care Committee and the Erasmus MC Medical Ethics Committee, respectively.
